In Memory of Picasso

For Cyrus, music is a powerful art form through which an artist can speak his soul. He was deeply touched by The Old Guitarist painting in which master Pablo Picasso depicted a blind, haggard man with threadbare clothing playing guitar. Using unique brush, palette knife and fingertip strokes, Cyrus' dynamic and emotionally evocative interpretation captures the guitarist melting into his music, becoming one with it in the moment. The splashes portray the movement of the musical note vibrations.
